Well, it wouldn't bother me :-) I'd want the words to be American (elevator not lift, etc) and Jim and Blair to sound American but colour/color type stuff; nope, I'll adjust to whatever is used as long as it's consistent.

Well yeah, me too. TBH, I rarely notice the spelling unless it's pointed out to me. I've never noticed it in your fic at all; Jim's got Blair pinned to the wall, doing lovely, unspeakable things to the boy... I'm way too busy enjoying all the Jim n Blair luuurve to pick up on something so tedious as the *spelling*. Sheesh! *g*
