Writerly Doings...

Entanglement is on the move again! ::she squeed, in a restrained and inoffensive fashion:: Whatever was blocking the writerly tubes seems to have dislodged itself and the relief is mighty! I've only done 2,382 words so far but it's a start and it's flowing; hopefully that'll continue.

And the next chapter of the Academy fic is written - 1,979 words; just a bit of navel-gazing before we hit the Big Bit of Plot. It needs a read through, but - progress is steady. I reckon that one's about 60% done now.

Dad's watching Laurel and Hardy; I have other stuff to do including go out for a run and shucks, it's windy out there!

Gosh this text is *tiny* - I can't read my own typing! But I digress...

I am squeeing with delight at the prospect of more Academy fic. and go you for progress on the novel!

I am writing too - The Night Terrors is back moving again. 55,000 words and counting - much, *much* more to do, though... ::sigh::

::huggles you tight:: It's so bloody cold and wet here! The winds have died down, but brrrr. I got soaked this morning on the walk to and from school.

Those tubes have been all bunged up since before Christmas.

Dad is... as he is, really. I suspect it's Alzheimer's, so I'm not really expecting it to get better. He has various doctors dealing with it; he's having a CAT scan tomorrow. Each day is different, sometimes he forgets everything, keeps asking where Mum is. Some days he's not so bad (thanks for asking) (o:

There should be more Academy up sometime today, as soon as the house goes quiet again and I can read the last bit through. It's not an exciting bit, just a bit of navel-gazing and thinking from the lads. I can;t tell you how glad I am that the novel is moving again, it's been driving me crazy.

And Night terrors squee!!! A long time to wait from the sound of it, though? Sounds like the Academy thing; I have no idea where it's going to end so no way of estimating how long it really has to go; I'm saying 70,000 words cause that sounds about right but, who knows?

I can'tt wait to finally read TNT so I'm sending WRITERLY VIBES, babe. Blowing them at you... XXXXXXXX whee! There they go...! Hope they help. (o:

Sadly, I have to go back out again. Rats! I am preparing for another drenching, plus arriving home with two drowned rats wet kids. Blah! 'Tis the story of my life.

More Academy fic of any kind is great by me. The anticipation of reading it will sustain me through the slog in the rain :-)

The Night Terrors has reached that stage where I am eyeing how much is still to go wearily. Once I get fully back in the groove, it will be fine, though. This next bit should be fine - it's the bit after that which is a bit more iffy - I've got a whole load of the plot which exists as merely a vague idea in my head. Once it firms up, it will be fine - right now, it's just this whole amorphous 'something'!

I love yoour writerly vibes - sending them right back at ya ::whoosh::. Rainbow text squee! Eeeeeee!

The text is not tiny this time. I know not why!
