panik: (DW - Doctor slut)

I wasn't going to post a reaction till I'd seen it again cause there was rather a lot to think about, wasn't there? You've gotta hand it to Rusty, he certainly packed a lot in...

My vision is not impaired...

made me spurt wine. Reminded me a little of James May's pink-paint-to-catch-the-crimms-ohno!-he's-put-his-wipers-on! action this week. But I digress...

Bernard Cribbins. Could I love thee more? That would probably be a 'no'; for to love thee more would probably be to risk injury.

I could've lived without the planks from Torchwood but Harriet Jones more (massively more!) than made up for it and getting everyone working together - that was brilliant.

The Shadow Proclamation and the Medusa Cascade - two mighty concepts in one short episode. Gosh. And Davros! Yes! Oh, that was the best of all, surpassed only by the mighty WIN of poor mad wibling Dalek Caan. I just loved Caan; I wanted to wrap him up in a big fluffy blanket of adoration and give him his own spin-off.

So - Caan broke the laws of time to rescue Davvy, hmmm? Well well well. That and the BIG! close-up on the Hand in a Jar makes me feel there are  things Of  Deep Significance a commin in the Timey-Wimey sense.

The Dalek with the high pitched voice; so very, very beta. My sister and I simultaneously! cried; 'You better watch out'. Heh heh heh!

The Big Rose Reunion. ::sigh:: Was made awesome by the extermination, really because I think I've already made it plain that I'm no lover of the Doctor/Rose twoo love 4EVA mess so to have one half of the equation cut down by the Dalek of Doom was... perfect. ::snicker:::

And extermination/regeneration noes! - Left me really surprised, for sure, but not especially moved, unfortunately, because I don't believe in it. Unless the Beeb has pulled off a stunner of truly majestic proportions (what with teh Tennant having been seen filming the Christmas special) so...?

The eppy was awesome but... I really need to see it again, and I can't help but feel the outcome of the 'regeneration' will be a bit of a cop out. I really, really, really hope it turns out to be awesome but I'm convinced DT will still be there at the end of next week so they have to do something. Unless... But no. Or maybe...?

I refuse to think about it till I see it.

And I'm still clinging to the hope that Gallifrey and/or the Timelords are involved in some sort of major time-retcon and - everything's a second out of synch with the rest of the universe, right? And there's the Shadow Proclamation hanging around out there...

Hmmm.

65 minutes next week. Please let it be awesome.
