Welcome to my perfumed garden

Went to vote - what a waste of time! Usually we have a Green candidate and/or a LibDem - this time, the choice was just the 2 big boys, so I did something I've never done before, I spoiled my ballot. As far as I'm concerned, when the choice is between a Shower of Bastards or a Coven of Wankers, there's no other option.

My, but it's hot! Spring arrived so late this year, but seems to have decided to make up for lost time and moved right into Summer. May is bustin' out all over! I took my usual walk up on to the moors above the village this evening - the waterfall is burbling over the gorge (no drought in Lancashire!), the trees are starry with blossom, bushes are thick with incipient blueberries and the woods are so beautiful they almost make me cry. Lambs frolick, Curlews cry, Hawks hover and everything is just too wonderful! :grins like a loony:

Why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name on my flist I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she/he wears mismatched socks." I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.
