Rushed off me feet doesn't even begin to describe it. Not going to go into details cos they're so damn dull... But I've not been able to do much fun stuff at all - like hanging out here with me mates - in what feels like an age.)o:

There has been  progress with my book, albeit very, very, slow. I really need a month of nothing to get it done, really, and that ain't going to happen any time soon. ::sigh::  I haven't even looked at the two heavy fics I'm writing for Moonridge - So why in the name of all the Gods have I started writing a new fic; an historical AU - a fresh departure for me and a tricky one - with the estimable alibongo? I think I must be slightly thick. Enjoying it, though, it has to be said; set on a Greek island just after the 3rd Punic war. It seems to be set on going slashy, too. I fought it at first but, hey, if that's what it wants to do...? I'm expecting togas to be discarded on the balnearius floor anytime soon. ::grins wickedly::

I'm hoping to catch up to LJ over the weekend - oh my, pages and pages of flist...! Please feel free to direct me to anything especially tasty I might have missed over the past couple of weeks.

Well, I was all keyed up and excited for this new Robin Hood they've been trumpetting for weeks and - we've got Robin as a bloody nobleman, the country's in dire straits because of wicked Prince John and his taxes while 'good' king Richard's away and... yawn. I'd hoped we were getting something new, something real, something that actually had something to say. I mean, I don't mean to be pickiy or anything, but why are the Normans all speaking English (and using long bows) and what was that anime-type bollocks with the swords?

Sheesh.
