There is a service called Tweet Replies which usually resides here: http://www.tweetreplies.com/ Which you sign up to and they forward updates to your email, but it's been down all the time I've been checking it so don't know if it's still extant. I've never used it myself so I can't say whether it's any good or not, I use Tweet Deck myself.
