Friday.

It is, isn't it?

I woke just after 3am, fought it till 4 then got up. Since then, there has been much coffee, a shopping trip (just realised forgot to check out the blueberry bushes I was going to buy. And the runner bean seeds. Ah, poo.) a cheese-jalapeño bagel and yet more coffee and still the brane fails to cooperate. I'm starting the read-through/re-writes for the novel today, I needs that brane I tells ya!

Ah. Whatever. I hope your day has started better than mine.

Went to bed at midnight, got up at five and fiddled around putting stuff in a crock pot so it will be ready for the boys who are doing some construction on our house for lunch, and now I'm in that gray area where if I go back to bed I probably won't fall asleep before I'd have to get up at seven for work, anyway. So, doing some LJ chores and going to try and write a little before departing for hell work today.

Your garden sounds lush and luscious.

Laurie

lush and luscious.

LOL. Wet and peaty for the most part, blueberries are something I've fought planting since the wild version covers every hillside around here, but in certain bits of the garden, they're the only thing I can think of that's guaranteed to grow apart from ferns. Maybe cranberries. :o)

Sounds like you share the dilemma - too tired to be 100% but know if you let yourself sleep the day'll be gone. Have a good one, however you decide to use it anyway.

I should be working. I'm putting it off. Man. I really should move myself...
