I should be working

I'm trying to start a new novel but being mightily distracted by Twitterer @alun_vega sending minute by minute reports of watching the filming of Doctor Who. It's riveting, almost hypnotic...

Work on The New Novel delayed by indecision on which novel to actually write, a sequel to Entanglement or teh one about a stranded-alien-living-at-the-seaside one. Such a quandary-stroke-dilemma.

::nods back, making 'sorely tempted' noises::

Although I've no experience with literary agents, I *have* had a lot of dealings with actors' agents and have friends who have literary agents, and the results are usually the same: They'll call you when they call you. *If* they call you, and as far as I can tell, prodding isn't looked upon as favorable behavior by the prod-ee. But that's here, and you're there, so...

Personally, if I were you, I'd give it more time than just three weeks and get on with the rest of my life as best I could. (A little ulterior motive here - can you see it peeking out from behind the sofa?...)

Yeah, I thought the same, it's just that waiting in limbo is so hard. I think I'll start working on submissions to other agents too, just in case. it could do with yet another edit too, I should get on with that, too

You're welcome to read it anytime, of course, though I wouldn't dream of forcing it on you; it's rather long. :o)

::*begs* not to be thrown into the brier patch:: ;o)

Well, I suppose I could be coaxed into reading it! ::snerks:: Where might I find this gem, oh magnanimous one? (Can you tell it's waaaaay late at night and I'm pretty much blown away?)

If you're sure and being truthful and not just polite, I have your email, I'll send it to you. Are you OK with Word 2003?

Polite? Moi?

I have Word 2000 - will that do? I get documents from systems more up-to-date than this one and have no trouble with them, so, yes, please, do send it on.

P.S. Will there be a quiz? ;o)
