In all fairness, He (the mighty one of Doughty Street) hasn't asked for anything since he asked for the whole ms, but it having been such a long time since I heard from him, I've decided to hedge those bets and start sending it out to other agencies as well. Usually I'd've had it out to a dozen or more at a time but he got back to me so quickly and so keenly I didn't see the point in approaching anyone else till he'd read it and made a decision - but it's been so long now (she sighed).

It's down to 3 pages now, I'm knocking off for an urgent meeting with a mug of tea and some crumpets.
