The trailer made me giggle but I wasn't especially tempted, then huge swathes of my flist said it was fabulous and... I don't get it, it was just an alright sort of action movie of the sort beloved by 14 yo boys which is fine if that's your bag it just isn't mine. I mean, just little bit of something cerebral and genuinely Holmesish would have been nice but it was just Bang Bang Bang Bang - the kind of movie that always bores me witless.

I'll be sticking with Jeremy Brett I think. Glad to see someone agrees with me! I feel like the mad person screaming about the end of the world with a bottle of cider in a brown bag on this one. *G*
