Too cool for subject

I did enjoy the film, in large part because I love RDJ and because, unlike pretty much every film I've seen for the last 12 years in a movie theater, IT WASN'T ANIMATED! (As you can see, my standards are very low.) I thought it was a bit odd, and slow at times, and certainly nothing like I recall from my reading many long years ago of Sherlock Holmes, but it was NOT ANIMATED. It was, however, oddly dark (lightingwise), which made me glad I saw it in the theater and not on our small TV screen at home, where I would have missed a bit of what was going on. And have I mentioned the astounding fact that IT WASN'T ANIMATED?
