We're pretty much on the same page :-). Matt is totally ace - I agree that he is very old school. He reminds me quite a bit of Pertwee, though with touches of Davison's mannerisms. A truly wonderful iteration of the character, who takes me back to my childhood and everything I loved about the Doctor back then.

I do very much love the weeping angels - they are quite possibly my favourite monsters ever. And I like the way the plot is opening out and developing in this two parter - it seems well paced and (for once) logical (unlike that bloody whale!). If Moff can carry off a good wrap-up next week I will be impressed. I just hope it doesn't fizzle out a la Rusty who, as we both know, had a few issues with endings!
