Yes, I can imagine a donut going stale on your journey home, but you need have no fear of that for your Twinkies. Twinkies will probably outlive us as a species.

Don't know what the Flake and cream egg you mentioned is ::lifts head hopefully at the possibility that someone else's country is also guilty of really embarrassing food:: ...but if it inures you to the hardship of transporting Twinkies, then that must be a good thing. :-)
