I can't get in the kitchen to make tea.

This makes me sad, angry and question the meaning of my life. These are not good things for a Sunday Morning so I thought I should do a meme and apparently, I am...

Hmmm. Do I feel better? I really don't know. My brain is still too muddied from the lack of tea for me to say.

Mark got up at 6am to put the sealant on the kitchen floor; I cannot decide if he's a hero or a fool. The stuff ate through a bristle brush and two pairs of rubber gloves, the smell is unbearable and the floor can't be walked on for four hours. This means no access to the kettle or the stairs (and that means the bathroom) for another hour. I'm sitting on the sofa with the front door wide open to let in some air and I needs tea!!! Dammit!

Hey! By now you should be back to normal, even if the smell does linger a bit sometimes. You had mentioned you wanted to do this back in April, when I was doing up my kitchen. How does it look now that it's dry? Did it turn out well?

It's taken a while to get our act together, hasn't it? *G*

It looks completely transformed now it's properly clean, as to how it'll look when it's sealed and dry, I'll tell you next week when we get back - I'm at mum and dad's now.

When things turn out well, it makes all the inconvenience worth it though. How's your mum doing?

Ah... so, so, you know. Not great, but better than she was. Thanks for the thought, hon.
