So, I've joined Facebook...
In an effort to separate fannish life (here) and RL work-life (there) and I've already friended Rae and signed up to Lois Balzer's TS group. What is wrong with me...? ::cue manic laughter::
I'm Maya Paneka over there, btw - it's my novellist (ha!) name.
Anyone else I should know about? *G*

I just asked to add you as a friend. If you don't want that, that's okay. =>}

My Facebook is my RL connection and LJ is my fan/slash/online connection.
Since you said YOUR Facebook was for work/RL and I'm not part of that, I wasn't sure. =>}
(not just anyone on LJ will get invited to my Facebook, since except for my immediate family, very few know of my proclivities, so I keep the two sides of my Gemini nature apart. *g*)

It's not a place I feel especially at home at; LJ is more my cuppa I must say, but I needed to separate real-life and Fan-life; I set up a second LJ but all that signing in and out as 2 different people - nah... that was never going to work.

Is it me you're worried about, or them? *g*
It would be difficult for me to know who they were! =>}

I would be a little worried if they knew I read slash, they are both quite prudish about that sort of thing, I really can not understand how that happened!! They know I have written stories, my daughter even read one, and they know the fandoms I am in., but I think they might be shocked that we can be as big at fandom as they can be. lol

My" kids" both know I read slash all the time. Neither is interested in that, but they're not prudish about it, either. They'll watch things like The Sentinel bloolpers with me and such and love to roll their eyes at my fannish doings. =>}
They both like the same kinds of shows I do at least. =>}
