Someone (the bastard!) has drunk the last precious spoonfuls of my Cuban coffee. I have beans in the freezer but no grinder (forgot that little detail when I bought them on auto). I'm fighting it, but I'm thinking I might have to resort to instant. (screaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammm!) And how old is that jar of Nescafe anyway...? ::shudder::
I'm going to have to walk into Penistone and buy coffee, aren't I? ::cue heavy, heavy sigh:: I'm all cosy by the fire, the house is really quiet for a wonder; I was all set to finish Angel Dust today. I could incorporate a side-trip to the Co Op into my run I suppose...
And it's a gorgeous day! Blue sky; one of those lovely , cloudless winter skies with touches of pink, purple and amber at the horizon; everything twinkling with frost.
ETA: We're out of Earl Grey, too. Dammmit!! What the hell is going on??!

On which note, I have suddenly remembered that I've only had one mug of coffee this morning, because I woke up late. Time to microwave the rest of the pot, I think! ;-)

Don't think I didn't think about it. Blender - urm, painful memory; I bust a friend's doing that once (it was in 1985; the memory still smarts). I don't advise it.
Of course, I have a grinder at home but I'm not home and - hey ho.
I'm managing on Nescafe till my toast has digested and I can go out and shop. Actually, the instant's nowhere near as bad as I thought it might be. Not good, but drinkable. (o:
