Oh yeah, idioms, I totally agree, but that's not the same as spelling; it's when people get upset by spelling differences that I get confused.

Thats just silly idioms matter more than spelling! If your reading a great fic you get so caught up in it that you don't notice spelling but if say Blair suddenly said something like I'd better call my mum or Jim was We found the body in the boot of the car THAT would ruin the enjoyment more than spelling!

And the other way round too, I hate it when it happens in Doctor Who fic.
