Isn't it nice to sit down?
I'd planned a quiet, peaceful day, reading, writing, maybe watching a film or two. I seem to have been on the go since I got up; shopping, walking the dog in filthy weather, making sandwiches and endless bloody cups of tea and coffee.
Anyway, I finally got to take the weight off I have tea and toast and have written 500 words in ten minutes and I hope to write many more such words before the day be out. Time I got back to it, indeed...
I hope everyone is having a groovy day.

I had a mad run-around day cleaning up after kittens, rug-buying (time to replace the old one after four years - why do the cats always make a beeline for it when they need to hack up a hairball?), grocery shopping, and dining at my son's. Now it's Monday morning and I'm wondering where my Sunday went.

Oh, I hear that!
Why is it, every time I plan a nice quiet day, hell always ensues? (o: The writing did flow, thanks; another chapter written, another chapter closer to the end (but still so far away...)

Thanks. My day has been pretty groovy. *g*
Sleeping in, fooling around during said "sleeping" in, eating a tasty brunch made by J., finally packing up the SEVEN large bins of Xmas stuff with J. and getting them up into the attic and now sitting here surfing and drinking my 50/50 gin/cranberry juice with a big slice of lemon and three maraschino cherries, well it just don't get much better than this. =>}
Add to this the fact that you're writing and the grooviness increases.
Add to all of THIS the expectation that at any moment the phone might ring and our daughter will tell us the baby is coming and the grooviness increases exponentially!
As does the nervousness/tension. Yikes! *bg*

Thanks. Except for the tooth thing, which is relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, life is pretty good these days.
Expectation of a new life puts a lot of good into life. =>}
