Ah, that's lovely, thanks so much! I'm looking forward to discovering the episode that this is from. I don't have words for how much I love this show.

It's from 'Old Gregg', the penultimate show of season 2 - it's out on DVD. I'm thrilled you like the show and there's a big online following so I'm sure it'll fetch up in Oz before much longer. They're doing a tour of the US, apparently, and it's not shown over there. (o:

Thanks for that. I have season 2 on DVD but haven't started watching it yet; just finished season 1 tonight. I noticed that season 3 is now available for pre-order from the UK also.
I think I read somewhere that the series has aired here on SBS, the multi-cultural channel, but I don't buy tv guides so I'd not stumbled upon it before. I rely on my flist to bring tv goodness to me. They never disappoint!

I guess it is, at that! When it first went to air, in 19 seventy-mumble, that's howi t was described. A lot of the programmes are not in English but have subtitles, and it airs such gems as Polish News.
It gained a huge following amongst Aussie males as it aired a large number of Danish / Swedish movies which featured half-naked ladies. You just didn't see that on mainstream TV at the time.
