That's pretty young. I wonder what the cause was?

That's so awful. I was just watching an interview with him on the set of the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency - he was so full of life and plans.

So sad...

I know...

I think I"m one of the only people I know that adore The English Patient (besides the girl I saw it with in the theatre back in 96).

I saw it 3 1/2 times (theatre film in viewing 4 broke).

I mean, I have the soundtrack, the books (odaanjte)...and well, that movie just moved me.

;(

That bit when Kevin Whately died... O:! And I'd read the book before I saw the film; I really should've known what was going to happen. *g*

I loved Truly, Madly, Deeply, too. It's an incredibly sad - mad, loss. Gods, the man wasn't *that* much older than me.

I *love* alan rickman !!!

Minghella did a great job putting that book into film. The book is um..rather stream of conciousness and not in the order the film is in.

I forget which charachter Whately was...it's been a while since I've seen TEP.

Sergeant Hardy. He gets blown up at the fountain.

I never read TMD but I loved the film.

Oh yeah. With Sayid from Lost. Hmm. Naveen Andrews is yummy.

and i was talking about TMD the film... :)
