There must be over an inch out there...

*G*

And it's starting to melt now the sun is out.  When I was little, snow regularly buried the house in a drift, right up to the bedroom windows. Hey ho the nonny. ::sigh::

So, what did everyone do with their LJ-free day? Personally,  found it strangely liberating. (o:

Snow! I miss snow so much *sigh*

And I can't answer your question cause I didn't participate in the strike :-) Plus, I had one hell of a mundane day so it's better for everyone if I don't give any details lol

No snow here. Bright sunshine though.

I read online, Elaine visited, and I watched TV then did some writing. I didn't really miss LJ, oddly enough. Probably because I knew I'd catch up the next day. :oD

Watched Hereos on Netflix, read on-line at some archives and did some chores. Walked and listed to podfic wile I trudged up and down my road. downloaded Audicity and started fumbling around with it so I can learn to do podfic. Played music really loudly and clattered around making noise late at night, because I can right now,( my husband is in Texas visiting his sick mother), when he's home he doesn't like loud stuff and he goes to bed really early, so I'm taking advantage. I kind of think there is a Blair fic in there, since Blair has to be quiet too, in the evenings when Jim goes to bed.
I missed lj, but I think they deserved a show of hands, more than the commenting, that folks aren't pleased at the way they've chosen to do buisness. I don't have a problem with them wanting free accounts to carry ads, because TNSTAAFL (There's no such thing as a free lunch), thank you, Robert Heinlien, for explaining that to me when I was twelve or so.

Now back to finishing chores and walking, so I can write the rest of the day with a clean conscience.

I took all my extra time and boredom, and turned it into something useful...sort of. I wrote an LOC I'd been meaning to writing since last September (I hate writing LOCs), but couldn't send it 'cause I couldn't find a working address. I sent a poem I wrote out to two betas, but I forgot to include the attachment. And I was going to write another LOC I'd been owing, but instead I went to sleep. So...I was sort-of productive?

I spent the day hanging out on IJ, setting up a comm for my icons and wandering around checking out everyone's flists. Found quite a few interesting people!

It snowed here yesterday as well. I was not amused. Thankfully it was gone by lunch.
