1. In the Section Labelled Shirts.
This was the first icon I made that wasn't Sentinel-related. It's Viv Stanshall from the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band - comedy band from the sixties, closely affiliated with The Pythons. The image is from Do Not Adjust Your Set, (1968). The caption is from my favourite Bonzo Dog song, Canyons of your mind (1969):

2. Nick Drake
Nick Drake; wonderful musician, wonderful man, died of either suicide or an accidental overdose of anti-depressants at age 29. He's recently become better known and rather fashionable. He only made 3 albums before succumbing to depression and retiring to his parent's house where he died. There's no film of Nick, only stills.
I don't know why I hang on to the icon; ops to use it are sadly rare, but I can't bring myself to ditch it. River Man is my favourite track.
3. The Owl
This is the icon for a TS fic I'm writing as a WIP for Moonridge; a $10 donation got you on the comm. Blair has a bad time at the academy then things go from bad to worse, the usual angst-fest people expect from me. *g*. I'm really blocked on it at the moment; haven't posted anything for 2 months. )o:
4. Inner Circle - I've often wondered about that piccy - where is that building?
Stonehenge. We are the inner circle of the super-seekrit cabal... a silly inside-joke between me and a couple of other TS peeps. *g*

Will be googling Nick Drake - hadn't heard of him, or the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band either. Must have led a very sheltered life here in the antipodes.
