I have to say, far from feeling net-deprived over the past week or so, I've been having a rather enjoyable time, reading actual books (remember those, children?) and working on two novels with a pen using actual paper.

Being back online is already starting to look like work; the number of emails awaiting my attention is daunting and as for LJ...

I think it might take me a while to catch up. Please to bear with me.

::waves at everyone:: My, haven't you all grown since I last saw you! (o:

That whole writing-with-a-pen thing seemsso archaic.

It brings a whole new palette to the colour of writing. I found it conducive to ideas and rather enjoyed it.

isn't going to happen actually. If I missed anything vital I'm sure someone will tell me.

Welcome back online, Curse the inevitable betrayal of technology. It leads us on with shiny promises and then dumps us.

Wow. Writing on actual paper. ::is impressed:: Me, I loves word processing, yes I does...

I have discovered a strange thing; I can come up with bookish ideas and wonderful one liners with a pen, but I cannot write fic. My ficcing abilities and the keyboard are inextricably welded together, it seems.

Pen and Paper??! That's right up there with smoke signals and hyroglifs *bg*

Pens and papers win with awesome loveliness. What's more, they don't become inaccessible when your power supply fails.

I'm seriously thinking of cutting myself a quill.

G;ad to see you're back. (As a side note, I write everything by hand first. I love the scratch of pen on paper. Tactile-girl. That's me.)

And what a lovely noise that is. (o:

I've discovered I can write novels and jot ideas with a pen but fic eludes me - fic , it seems, can only be written on a keyboard. Not sure why this is, but it is.

Welcome back! {{hugs}} I missed you. Isn't it amazing, though, what you can find to do when the net is suddenly not available?

It certainly is. I'm definitely going to try and spend less time logged on in future. There's a big, beautiful world out there people...

I'm glad you had a good time and didn't feel too deprived, but I'm glad you're back! I missed you... :o)

Well I'm back now, but not as frequently as before, I think. There's a beautiful universe out there you know...

::huggles:: i can only work on pen and paper when it's calligraphy pens on parchment :-p my 'usual' writing sucks so much that i took to typing my reports circa 7th grade.

glad to see you back - and happy.

Take your time, hon. In the meantime (books and paper aside, which I do love myself and am glad you enjoyed (if only the writing weren't so damn slow)) I'm happy to see you're back online. Have fun!

I've given up already. Tis a hopeless exercise in futility. If anything big or clever happened in my absence, you'll tell me, won't you?
