If anyone 's still doing the downloads thing?

I just uploaded Inside Man.

ETA: Just thinking... There aren't that many eps still left to do; I have TSbyBS ripped but never uploaded it because when I said I was going to - one chat, many moons ago - there was a loud and resounding 'Noooo!' for some reason... Only it's still here, cluttering up my HD and I'm planning to upload it soon, just to get it out of the way (because these files are BIG and I really need the space, y'know?).

Is there a genuine objection to that plan?

the main objection to TSbyBS is that everyone wanted to slice and dice the authors for having the University and diss-related characters do things so *blatently* academically stupid.

which i totally understand... because i get the same homicidal maniac feelings whenever i read about the 'wondrous shot made from 50yds away!'

other than that, i got nothing, except giggles at fandom drama.

I understand why someone might not like the *ep* - even the actors had major problems with the ep - but I don't see why I shouldn't upload it - which I probably will next time around so I can wipe it from my lappy which is suffering under the strain. (o:

For heaven's sake... just because you UPload it, doesn't mean they have to DOWNload it. It's very simple; if they don't want it, they don't have to have it -- or even to watch it.

I say, just upload it, get it off your computer, and let the others do what they want.

I agree with Starwatcher. It's cluttering up your hard drive, you want it gone, so upload it. It's your site. If they don't want to watch it no one's forcing them to download it.

I think you should upload it - I wasn't at that chat, apparently. It's such an important ep in terms of knowing the canon, and it's got all those lovely angsty bits of glaring and fighting and sacrifice and all that... plus I just think it would be awesomely cool if you have room for Seasons Two through Four to have them all up there. And as others have said, if they don't want to download it, they don't have to.

Thanks for Inside Man, btw (I think... isn't that on the list of everyone's most hated ep ever?) :o) Still hoping you can make it to chat sometime... we've moved to Saturday nights now since Daylight Savings Time meant things were lasting a little late...

Also, expect an Easter package sometime soon... :o)

of course I'm going to upload it! As for the chat... you weren't there? TB entirely H I can't remember the details, it was a long time ago - I'd ripped it and shyly broached uploading but there was such an outpouring of grief at the notion, I put it back on the shelf - but there's only about a half-dozen eps left and I need to get it out of the way so it'll be next up.

You've switched to Saturdays? OK, that'll clash nicely with Doctor Who. *g* Not sure when I'll be able to make it again anyway, so it's pretty moot for me. I'll be watching Verity Lambert Night tonight; I'd think any Who fan will be. New Who, Classic Who, Quentin Crisp, a documentary and Jonathan Creek. It doesn't get much better than that. (o:

Sorry. :o( I guess there weren't too many Brits around when we discussed it. But if we go any earlier we'll lose the Aussies and the Kiwis; any later and it's way too late for the Germans. So we figured Saturday instead of Sunday would at least make the late nighs okay.

I'll put together a little something for you too, hon.

Aw, thanks, but please don't stress out about it! I know you and Mark are really busy going back and forth to your dad's and all... but the peanut butter eggs went on sale last week after Easter and I couldn't resist...*G*
