We had heavy snowfall all night long - lasted until about noon - I went out to get groceries and couldn't see halfway down the block!

It's not that heavy here - a decent sized covering though and very pretty now it's sunny and the sky is all blue and that. (o:

According to the news last night, one of the towns north of the city claimed 34 cm of snow fell yesterday!

So, what you're saying is, it's snowing in Canada...?

OK.

Not today, its not! But yesterday, yes, it was snowing in Canada

Did you get any? It snowed reeely heavily last night but it was melting as it fell. A goodly covering this morning though; we're just checking to see how things are likely to be on the M62... )o:

We had some, but there is absolutely nothing now, and I only know that as there was some on a couple of windscreens on my way to the vets.
I hope you have a good journey (well, as much as anyone can on the M62)!

Clear as gin all the way over - barely any snow on Saddleworth at all. We hit a few heavy flurries between Huddersfield and Penistone but nothing to text home about really.

Isn't it pretty late for snow, even where you are?

It's about 4x more likely to snow here at Easter than Christmas; lambs being dug out of snow drifts have been a UK news staple all my life. *g*

Wow, snow? Is that usual for you all?

Perfectly normal. See comment to vamysteryfan above. (o:

Sheesh! It snowed again here yesterday. I don't think Spring is EVER going to come this year. *sigh*

Spring was here - still is, actually, under the thin coating of snow. It's very picturesque actually, with the sky so blue and the sun glinting off the white trees. I do you a picture but we didn't bring the camera. I'm sure they're all over the news though (we tend to get a bit tartrazine over snow).

Yeah, there you go...

I love it when the sun comes out and the world is all white!

Tartrazine! I've never heard that word used in quite this way! *g*

Good. That means I made it up. I can use it again in a script, maybe a novel. *g*

It's all melting now - it will do that, darnit.

Kewl! You'll start a trend! *g*

You can come get some of our snow. We still have feet of it left in the backyard. And the frontyard, too. =>}

Still?! *a bit horrified* And we have here such a nice weather - about 20+C on the sun and I'm wandering around our yard in T-short only... I wish you better weather soon!

I wish we had more. And such lovely weather for protesting the Olympic torch run. *g*

I loves it too, but sometimes (especially when the first snow had been in October) I'm just tired of it :-)
And why protesting? because of China?

Over China/Tibet, yeah - it's been a very big deal over here.

I laid out by the pool today. I'm a lizard woman, hence my need to live in Florida.

Stay warm!

I'm glad you found a climate that suits you. (o:

I never could abide the tropical climate - I stuck it out for 12 years; that's enough for anyone, imo. I've done my tropical time, thanks. *g*
