OK, poor Felicity Kendall (Felicity Kendall!!!) O:! Imagine giving birth to that! - and the man-becomes-wasp scenario was slightly wanky (if everso funny - 'Vicar, you're buzzing...' heh heh!) but so fast and witty and delicious, most especially everything Doctor-Donna; the look on the Doctor's face when Donna was doing her 'absolutely spiffing; top hole' schtick ('No; no, don't do that...')

And... oh yeah; the flashback - searching for Charlemagne?! And the detox (Mammy!  Hee!) and the kiss. OMG, the kiss! ::grins stupidly::

This eppy was just made of purest awesome CRACK and W.I.N.

A triumph. I loved it.

kay. Orf to watch jolly old Confidential...

I'm still grinning.

Professor Peach; lead piping in the library... I LOLed. It kinda set the tone (in an entirely good way).

Felicity Kendall is a goddess. Haven't seen the episode yet, but it's HIGH on my to-do list.

Am I being hopelessly American by admitting I would kill for a Whoniverse reunion of the cast of "The Good Life?" Seriously, Penelope Keith and Catherine Tate in an episode together? I could deal with that.

Absolutely not and even if you were, would it matter ?and would I be bothered? Certainly not. Please be as American as you wish, hopelessly will only add to our amusement.

(Oh dear, I'm so sorry. There's no accounting for me this afternoon; I blame coffee).

HA! Ooh, me too! Richard Briers was, of course, in Paradise Towers and Paul Eddington, alas, no longer with us but we could re-cast. Angus Deyton maybe? I see a Golgafrincham-type ark ship; Tom and Barbara lead a green, Guardian-reading taskforce and embark on terra-forming the planet; the Leadbetters try to bring Thatcherite order... the two teams eventually evolving into warring tribes, like the Tesh and Sevateem.
Someone should definitely write that and pitch it to Moff (o:

Is that Dame Maggie in your icon, btw?

Yes, it's Dame Maggie in my icon.

Your scenario for a Dr. Who/Good Life crossover is brilliant--sign me up.

Thanks for being so welcoming.
