Too cool for subject
I must admit I didn't go for this ep particularly. I will keep the rant and the feminist RAAAAGE for my own LJ, but most of the time I was just going 'they did this one after they'd run out of money, didn't they?'
That said, the acting was brilliant, and I hope they paid the woman who played Sky a shedload for it, because it must have been fiendishly difficult.
Too cool for subject
Each to their own I suppose. I thought it was nicely written and brilliantly performed and something genuinely fresh and new for who where usually, the temptation is to set everything on the Biggest Stage Possible. The one-stage set really shone a spotlight on the acting and performances. I saw nothing to ignite my feminist rage so I'm not really sure what you mean there. A nice, clean eppy, I thought, especially compared to the over-blown wank of last week.
Lesley Sharp was truly magnificent. I doubt if she got paid a shedload but she deserved to, I agree. Everyone in it was spectacular but the scenes with her and teh Tennant were stunning and made the thing for me, really.
