Too cool for subject

Sometimes you do have to just drag the Muse in kicking and screaming. I've stretches where I just keep doggedly writing, even though I'm telling myself I'm probably going to cut all this later...

And I've had that feeling, too, of reading over something I wrote and not recognizing it. Happened more with my dissertation, but I've had it with fic.

Here's hoping the coffee works and your muse gets energized!

I have of late lost all my fandom squee and it's been really hard to raise the ficcish Muse. But I am trying... Do I get points for effort? (o:
