Tea and crumpets in my sticky, blistered and bleeding hands. My, it's hot out there! But the seeds-of-doomish tropical honeysuckle is somewhat tamed, as is the ivy and Ceanothus. There is still much to do though so I'm off out again in a tic for I needs must attack a Rowan with a hacksaw.

I hope you're having a delicious day my lovely one. I've been picking many of your gastropodal brethren out of my nooks and crannies and hair. I am treating them kindly, setting them free in the woods out the back.

Lubrication... Refuses to go there. I have a bottle of Californian Chardonnay awaiting me in the fridge. I shall feel I've truly earned it as I pop its cork this evening - for once. (o:

LOL - not you too - I take mine for a nice long walk in a bucket and release them into the wild while humming 'Born Free' to them... I swear I have homing snails though - the wee buggers keep finding their way back...

Happy and well-deserved weekend sweetie ::raises glass of something from Morrisons::
