I don't think I've laughed so hard in years.

Dear God, it's terrible.

I only go back at 9.30, but what I saw was enough.
It is DIRE!
But is amusing because it is so bad...

I especially enjoyed the people living in some caves in Devon, entirely unseen - and the bit when the history professor pulled a gun on everyone. |Oh, and the fact thst 'no one could have survived out here' - you know, just outside Bideford (and not a cream tea in sight...)

How desperate are the BBC for American sales?

All this derision made me curious, so I checked out the official website.

Haha! Hahaha! Those poor bastards of Knights Templars must be turning in their graves - again. Someone's been watching too much DaVinci code - and if the fedora on one character is meant to code that he's a dork then it's successful. If it's meant to code anything else....

It is shockingly bad.

I mean, production values are sound, there's some good actors there but the writing, the concept, the ideas! And the people responsible for LOM did this. I guess this explains Ashes to Ashes then. Talk about one trick ponies. ::shakes head in despair whilst laughing like a drain::

I got a pain from laughing, and I've only watched the trailers... *g* So which one is supposed to be Tony Robinson?

I suppose that would be Julie Graham, but she's not as quick on her feet. Or as good looking.

I didn't bother with it last week, the trailers told me all I thought I needed to know but Mark told me it was so appallingly bad it had to be seen and I'm glad I watched, it was a much needed note of levity in an otherwise unpleasant evening's TV. ::nods:: (o:

Ah. Cerne Abbas man. they don't build em like that any more.

Drat - I wish I'd watched it now... I can see myself with a glass of wine in one hand, laughing in all the wrong places. But then - I found 'Love Story' hilarious. I'm horrid like that. *g*

Ah. Cerne Abbas man. they don't build em like that any more.

LOL - he's a dear boy... the result of some of my distant ancestors getting bored on a Saturday night?

His likeness is to be found on any pub-toilet wall. Graffiti, hasn't changed in thousands of years. Only diff = they built it to last in them days. *g*

Oh Love Story was fantastically, horribly funny, I agree - but The Exorcist was just plain hilarious. really, I thought I'd die.

::snigger:: Oh lordy, yes - I saw it at the pictures and tee'd off everyone round me I was giggling so much. Don't think the boyfriend ever quite got over the humiliation *g*

I went to see it with my uncle and auntie and when the green head spun round Uncle George yelled out loud (he's that sort); 'Monty Python! It's bloody Monty Python!' with Auntie 'ssshing' him like mad. I think I permanently crippled myself laughing that night.
