I'm dealing with my some RL angst this morning. It's my partner's 50th birthday. Not even the complete Father Ted boxset has made a happy bunny of this boy. :sigh:
I'm sorry he's not growing older with grace! I'm afraid I'm not very sympathetic about people not liking growing old, these days, though. =>}
After watching my best friend die of cancer when she was 40 and I was 44, I have little patience with it. I would give ANYTHING and I know she would too, for her to have turned 50 a couple of years ago.
I don't mean to be nasty, but it DOES tend to put it all into perspective.
