Heavy, heavy angst.

I'm dealing with my some RL angst this morning. It's my partner's 50th birthday. Not even the complete Father Ted boxset has made a happy bunny of this boy. :sigh:

Hmm , Yes, Saga arriving on the doorstep is a real downer. Even the name, SAGA sounds, I don't know, dithery or slow, or something like that.

Hopefully, watching FT should cheer him up.

I'm sorry he's not growing older with grace! I'm afraid I'm not very sympathetic about people not liking growing old, these days, though. =>}

After watching my best friend die of cancer when she was 40 and I was 44, I have little patience with it. I would give ANYTHING and I know she would too, for her to have turned 50 a couple of years ago.

I don't mean to be nasty, but it DOES tend to put it all into perspective.

(I'm about to be 56 btw. =>} )
