It's achingly slow and I haven't been able to embed an url all day - now it's not posting raw urls at all.

Is it a general problem, or is it just me?

I haven't been able to do so since I upgraded to the new version of Firefox. Can't embed any URLs etc. If I go to the HTML editor I can see a javascript void or java void error. I can copy and paste the correct URL over this and it works but it is such a pain! LJ know there is a problem with this and are supposed to be working on it but I've had this for a couple of months now. It sucks!

I've been refusing to upgrade for fear of stuff like this happening. I tried to upgrade but it wouldn't import my bookmarks (which are dear to me (o:) so I stopped. I'm still on 2.0.0.16 so it can't be that (but thanks for the heads-up on version 3!)

Ditto the thanks for the update. My version is newer than Gilly's, but I haven't upgraded either. I'm happy with what I have; why should I change it?

Thanks for the headsup - I have been thinking of upgrading, will now cling to the old one for a while longer...

I've been having issues for days with friends links and comments to friends posts. I can't see them, and I know they are there. Annoying.

I just posted a photo from my scrapbook, and it took 2 tries to get it up there. It was a long entry, and I was really glad that Livejournal managed to save it all. I really hate it when LJ eats posts.

So no, it's not just you.

::Sigh::

My problems only began yesterday - it's fast enough this morning but it still won't post urls. I think maybe they're working on it? Hope so anyway.

Hmm... I've had some freezing and non-responses today, but it showed up when I tried to open a particular post on Shakespeare's Sister. But it might be a bad vibe from LJ.

*shrug* Everything's been slow for a couple of days, but virus scan says Okay. I'll need to do what little debugging I know this weekend.

I think maybe LJ are tinkering a little? I haven't upgraded Firefox and the problem only started yesterday evening (my time) - it's still not working today though which makes me think they're working on it?

I hate when stuff doesn't work anymore.

I have a satellite connection which is only a fraction better than dialup, so I don't know from slow.

I'm concerned about the talk about the Firefox update. Now I'm very afraid since I installed last week. No big problems with it yet, so maybe it will be fine...

I think I'm sticking with the version I have till all this gets sorted - even though it's clearly not a Firefox issue for me, or at least, if it is, it's new - this only happened yesterday evening. It's still not working this morning, though. Maybe LJ are doing some tinkering?
