ok, i was just wondering, precisely because i know UK politics - and probably mainland Europe politics, too - tend to be lefter than US. so i can see someone going 'but i'm a conservative!' if they *are*, according to the UK spectrum, but would still test out liberal/ democrat on the US spectrum.

myself, and most of my non-fannish flist are libertarian. we just sound more conservative because we tend to vote to keep our guns. i wish 'keeping our guns' didn't seem to go hand in hand with 'idiotic religiosity enshrined in stupid laws', though.

Really.

I've read your flist on occassion. I don't think they and I would find much to agree about. I'd rather keep our discussions fannish.

no argument. i usually stay away from political posts because i get 'caught in the middle', as it were. i only mention it now because, well, election time. but i get over the political urge pretty quickly - it doesn't take much.

so, how are the husband and kids? you have kids, right?
