Lord, I remember that show! It was called Police Surgeon in the US. I thought Sam Groom was just so handsome. He sitll guest stars as a baddie on a few shows here and he's aged quite well.

It was utter garbage, wasn't it. He kept getting hit on the head and having partners die on him.

I didn't know that about Jack Albertson. Funny story!

It was on here about 2.00 in the afternoon I think, mid seventies it would've been. I still remember the bitter disappointment of arriving home early from school, the house to yourself, settling down with a coffee and a plate of toast, switching on the TV and finding DSL was on and you had to sit through a half-hour of that to get to the good stuff. *g*

I can't remember any of the details tbh, just the opening credits with the helicopter, and the fact that it was truly dreadful.

And Jack Albertson - was he ever less than magnificent? I was surprised to find he'd been in it.
