Oh, Gilly, I have *got* to stop following you into various internet habits that can easily become addictions. I listened to The News Quiz online and it is fabulous. We'll have to add it to the regulars right up there with Dr. Who.

And heeeee! Old Peculiar! I haven't heard of that in a long time. Teh First Boyfriend had a fondness for it.

I didn't even know it was online - aside for the usual BBC feeds and listen again. All hail the Great Sandi. *g* You should try some other stuff, Just a Minute and The Now Show are a couple of my favourites.

Anything from your side you can rec - I'm always on the lookout for a quality download. :o)

Teh 1st BF sounds like a man of most excellent good taste to me.

Heh, I'm pretty sure it was the "listen again" option I was using.

Recs from my side of the pond -- well, I only listen to NPR on the radio, and they have a somewhat similar news quiz show on Saturdays called Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me... You must have heard of this, right? It's wonderfully hilarious and wickedly barbed. Here's the site: http://www.npr.org/programs/waitwait/ and if you click on This Week's Show you'll get a playback. The other funny show I like is about car maintenance, Car Talk at http://cartalk.com/ -- might not be your cuppa.

As for Teh First BF, he would be the first to concur with your assessment. Hee!

Speaking as someone with no license, car maintenance is, indeed, not my bag at all. (o: I'll certainly give t'other a go, though.
