I've been working rather hard on the novel (in case anyone wondered where I was *g*) but the more I work on it, the further away the day when I can actually start writing again seems to get. It' s getting more and more complex - getting better, I think (I bloody hope!) but gosh golly; 32,000 words of notes that's all got to be sorted out and made coherent. I just discovered 2 new characters today, and a whole lot of new ghosts that'll have to be described en mass - they're not individuals as such, but it's all extra stuff I hadn't budgeted for, if you know what I mean.
::wibble::
I'm sure it'll come right in the end. ::she said with a plucky, Dunkirk smile::
Writing aside, life ticks on as per, nothing to see here, nothing to report. Could be better, could be worse. :o)

Too cool for subject
Of course we wonder where you are - we miss you *g*
Sounds like your notes are turning into an epic all of their own - meep! You want to borrow my whip and chair to force them back?
Keep warm and snuggy, sugar - 'tis a good time to be indoors writing.

I know what you're talking about
But this is about you and I am pretty certain that it's all for the better in your case, especially if, when writing, (unlike me, usually) you can actually stick to your notes. It should all go that much quicker for having done all the planning. Less pitfalls to fall into, one should think.
You have my best wishes. And I'm very much looking forward to the result one day.
