I'm not, but that's because I'm a pessimist and have convinced myself it's the one person (out of the likely contenders) that I don't want it to be. Actually, this is all weirdly anxiety-inducing. Sometimes I hate being a fan.

Not a fan of the Nesbitt option myself but if he turns out to be the choice I've no doubt I shall learn to live with him. My money's on Patterson Joseph but I'm frankly excited to see who they chose. It's certainly added a little spice to my post-season blues.

I have no idea of who most of the names put forward are, but Patterson Joseph would be a very interesting choice. I think he'd be quite good - he can be very doctor'ish!

And really, all the actors have been such surprises but good doctors (well maybe with the exception of Colin Baker) that it'll all be a good surprise.

I'm rather looking forward to the change of regime. I was never much of a fan of Russell TD. I'm just hoping we get a return to the show being about The Doctor and not the companions, whoever the new actor turns out to be. ::is nervous but eternally optimistic::
