So, we saw Live! BOOSH last night!

[livejournal.com profile] alibongo and me. It was good. Very. But cold, very  (theatre in an ice-hockey venue. Why???). Crack Fox! Eels!! Tony Harrison!!! That silvery simpleton The Moon! But Rich Fulcher stole the show. I can now dance like Bob Fossil (feed those chickens! Where were you last night?) I have been within pissing distance of The Hitcher and witnessed the 'orrible grisly murder of an 'Oney monster by means of a giant hair dryer

And then we came home and watched Call of the Yeti on DVD

::sigh:: The Life, she is good sometimes.

Oh, lucky you! I just told Eoin and he's totally envious :-D.

I am sitting here writing possibly my most evil satire yet. I will post to beta_bev in a bit... LOL. Would love to get any mad ideas you have to contribute... :-D

Hug Ali for me! ♥

Hee.

Twas mighty and good - there were kids there (one was dressed as Old Gregg) tho I wouldn't have called the live tour a kid-friendly show myself. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. *g*

I shall go seek out your marvellous new story just as soon as I've answered all these emails asking where the Temple website's gone. ::sigh:: :o)

And I feel as though I'm reading a foreign language.... What on earth did you say?

All right! That's just awesome! I wish wish wish they'd tour here. Meanwhile I have my DVDs (strokes plastic casings lovingly).

[identity profile] gillyp.livejournal.com 2009-01-11 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I expect this tour will be out on DVD before too much longer, hon - and alt least you'll be able to watch it in the cosy warmth of hom, not sitting for 2 and a half hours, freezing your arse off on an ice hockey rink I mean - whose idea was that?! sheesh!

[identity profile] miwahni.livejournal.com 2009-01-11 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Having the show at an ice hockey rink strikes me as being a particularly boosh thing, you know? "Not for us the stadia of thousands, no sir! We make our audience uncomfortable! Disturbed! That way they can appreciate the true meaning of art!"
"Sorry Howard, that's bollocks."

[identity profile] gillyp.livejournal.com 2009-01-11 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
When no less a personage than THE HITCHER feels it necessary to interrupt his piece to yell (in character); 'this has to be the coldest fuckin' venue we've ever played! Bleedin' 'ell it's fuckin' freezin'!', you know it's cold. *g*
