I'm amazed he was 80 - I always see him the age he was in the Village.

He was 39 when he made The Prisoner. He was from my hometown; I knew a lot of people who'd known him when he was working at the Library Theatre. The Prisoner was my first fandom. I guess, at his age, all bets are off but it's an awful shock to me. :o(

Did you ever see him in "The Man in the Iron Mask" starring Richard Chamberlain? He was excellent in that.
