Wow, those are truly gorgeous pics -- definitely frame-worthy. And that's a *stile* on that fence by the gate, isn't it? Believe it or not, there are not stiles here -- I've only seen them in England. *Nostalgic*

I'm glad you enjoyed them - no skill involved on my part, really; it really was just that lovely out there.

There are a lot of stiles around here but that's not one, just a gate.

Interesting. I suppose... ::thinks:: I don't think you have the same tradition of ancient rights of way and public footpath laws - or maybe I'm wrong? Stiles can be more than a tad annoying tbh, if you've got dicky knees or a dog with you. *g*
