The sister's last minute shopping has been achieved. The M62 has been negotiated, Morrison's has been shopped dry. We are home. The laundry's been filed away, the ageing stove has been right-properly cleaned and fire-bricks repaired and it's finally lit (though it'll be chilly in here till it kicks in properly tomorrow).
I'm sitting with a cup of Earl Grey and yummy tomato-chilli bread with cream cheese. I'm going to read the last chapter of my book (Reeves and Mortimer by Bruce Dessau) then - maybe -do some work.
Current status is relaxed, imbued with peace and love for my fellow beings. Complaints be very few. :o)
