with that bloody Rainbows sequel :sigh: When I finished the first story, I thought I knew where it was all going to go, you know? But now that I've sat down to actually work on it...? Nothing. It can't be writer's block 'cos my old chipped mug runneth over with ideas for the other story I'm working on. ::heaves big, deep, despairing sigh::
So, any suggestions gratefully received cos I'm coming up empty here! There are such a lot of loose ends to tie - Powell, the serial killer who got away, Blair's slipping back to the jungle and that stutter, the expedition with Eli, their new career together... sigh. I know there is a plot in there, but damned if I can find it right now.
Maybe I should just leave it a bit, get on with t'other one and stop fretting? Hmmm. That seems like a good idea. ::nods to self and wanders off to make coffee and find that choc chip cookie secreted in the freezer:: Maybe the caffeine-sugar combo will help the juices flow...?
Too cool for subject
Good luck figuring out your sequel, but I think you should just go with flow and write whatever works right now.
I, on the other hand, am fighting my way upstream. :oD
