We're back. Me mate has taken a mug of fennel tea to bed with her. Stomach bug, or food poisoning, something. She seems OK but feeling decidedly dicky poor thing.
Oh the massive irony! She currently lives in Cuzco, the very place I got the worst case of tummy gip ever seen in human-kind and she waits to get to Lancashire to get a dose of the same.
Oh well, home in time for QI, it could be worse. :o)
Mark has been drying logs in the oven. The whole house smells of sweet, warm resin. Very nice indeed.

It's been a blah day here, too, but no food poisoning, thank goodness!
Sorry you've had a blah day.
I have no idea where she got it from, it wasn't my lentils I know that! *g*
She's alright, just a bit green about the gills. I was looking forward to a good old chin wag. Hey ho...

Glad you have a show to come home to, at least.
First Ben had the flu (before we got here), then we came early because our daughter got it, then J. came down with it yesterday morning. Fortunately, it seems to be pretty much a 24 hour kind of thing.
Here's hoping I don't it, although I've never, ever picked up a bug from either our daughter or J. *TOUCH AND KNOCK ON WOOD!* =>}

Ah, flu! Lawks a lawdy, is everyone alright? I had flu last October and I don't think I've ever been so ill in all my life; it took me weeks to recover properly. I hope everyone recovers soon. Take care, all of you

Thanks very much. It seems to be one of those 24 hour stomach bugs that comes out at both ends. Ben and our daughter are fine and J. is just about better. Just feels a little tired.
I don't usually catch such things from them, so as I said, I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep on touching and knocking on wood. *g*
