Ooh, that's good!

A vanilla latte; fired up the Trevisso for a double expresso with Lavazza coffee, steamed milk with a drop of Madagascan vanilla paste. Orgasmically good. I have almond halva too. I be bad.

I've been toiling on the north face of my novel all day - well, for the last five hours anyway. Thought I'd pause for a coffee and a word check that tells me I have produced 1,282 words today. How can this be?!?! ::looks under lappy for lost wordage:: There have to be at least 5,000 words here, shurely?!

Bugger.

You lost words too?

O:! Where are they all going? To live on Planet Biro with the socks?!

I came back from my walk with some nice visual ideas. I find Dance Macabre very conducive to writing this book. ::nods:: Anyway, I ended up with 1750 words which is poor but not disastrous. Oy.

They weren't even my words wot I lost ::hangs head in shame::

I'm trying to sell it to the boss man by telling him less words = less bits of paper = smaller print bill. Um *g*

I find Dance Macabre very conducive to writing this book.

Whooohooo! I love your motivation ::beams::

Isn't it fabulous? It really gets in your head. I love Alan Davies' story of strolling down the street whistling then realising the song in his head was Danse Macabre and he'd just strolled around London whistling the theme to his own TV show. Which was embarrassing... ::chortle::
