Whoops.

In a brief trip to buy pjs  I may have accidentally bought a rambling rose, a redcurrant, pak choi and tatsoi plants, some interesting spices, a Camembert and 2 bunches of asparagus for dinner tonight. How do these things happen?!?

The Garden Centre at Botany Bay had Noggin the Nog garden figures. Alas, they were rather pricey and I couldn't bring myself to shell out quite so much for a bit of reconstituted stone no matter how Noggin (or dragon) shaped, but this is going to prey on my mind for weeks now, I tell you, weeks!

Right, tea and a bagel and ON! with the work for I needs must play catch-up nao.

I needs new pjs but the ones in Tesco's were horrid (and expensive) and |I couldn;t bring myself to trail off to Matalan.

That's my excuse and it's a damn good one!

Your shopping trip sounds delightful even if you didn't get your pj's. Be sure to post pictures of your rose when you get it planted. I have to admit to some gardening envy this year::points to LJ name & icon *g*:: I'm not supposed to be doing anything strenuous and I desperately want to work in the yard. I have Hubby for week before Summer Session I starts at the university so hopefully he can help rescue my roses from the neglect they are currently suffering, poor little things.

I'm not sure there'll be much to see, it's a very tiny rose. I only bought it because it was suffering (and reduced to 99p. *g*) Roses aren't really my thing, only one bit of the garden catches much sun and I tend to grow my fruit there, but I'll find it a sunny corner and hope for the best.

I hope you get into your garden soon.

As a matter of fact, I did - except I didn't buy the pjs, they were too ugly and expensive. I'm still trolling round in the same old pairs.

Caught up? Yes indeed, 2000w of novel and the notes for Blue.
