2,541 actual words + notes for all chapters up to and including The End. ::polishes fingernails. looks smug::

I est. I should be finishing the first draft a week today - lots will need to be done of course, I know there are holes and missing chapters in abundance. I don;t expect to fully finish even the first draft till the end of summer but it's getting there. 120,000 words and counting.

And now I have a work out to thrash myself through and a kitchen to clean. I hope you're having a jolly day my love. XXX

I hope you're having a jolly day...

I'm just on the last knockings of an emergency book re-edit that has eaten the last four days of my life... I'm hoping to turn back from pumpkin into human this afternoon. If not - the matches are coming out and the ruddy book is going to be a very pretty bonfire. ::looks stern::

Why do we do this again? Wouldn't filling shelves at Morrisons be a tad easier? *hg*

I must admit the same thought has oft occurred to me, too.
