Of interest to all those amongst us who like to post a WIP.

Neil Gaiman takes on fans harassing fantasy author George RR Martin ([livejournal.com profile] grrm ) for being slow to update his story. As Neil points out, "George R.R. Martin is not your bitch... George R. R. Martin is not working for you."

Once again NG proves himself hand-crafted of pure and unadulterated awesome.

Mood:: 'relaxed' relaxed
location: Yorkshire
Music:: A documentary about the disappearing bees

I've heard this said many times, but never as perfectly and incisively. The man is impossible not to be in awe of.

It's great to see this old fandom argument being played out in the real world by known authors.

Believe me, I have enough to read at the moment in published authors not to be worried about when one of them is publishing their next piece of work! I must have 60 unread books in my library!

I like NGs blog, always interesting. He doesn't update as often as he used to though, now he Twitters so eagerly. :o)
