It be yummy, deed it be. *g* Looking out the window, I'd say it was perfect weather for vegging in front of the telly and scoffing down junk and fangirling like the world is ending. ::nods::

Have a fabulous weekend yourself - is it a holiday there, too? I don't know why I have a sneaking suspicion in the back of my mind that it is.

It is indeed - Memorial Day is Monday, the day we remember all the veterans. There's a particular tradition here in DC. The veterans from the Vietnam War gather and ride motorcycles from the Pentagon, around the Mall and then to the Vietnam War Memorial on Sunday. It's called Rolling Thunder. It's pretty awesome (and noisy!)

Here it's just Whitsuntide aka Spring Bank Holiday and nothing exciting at all happening, unless you count all the drinking and vegging. Just a fine, Medieval calendar-style excuse for a day off (and nothing wrong with that).
