Too cool for subject

We went to vote at our usual polling station which happens to be my old primary school.

The janitor was standing guard at the door, bored out of his skull..
There were also two police officers in a van outside... presumably in case the voters rioted or something.... However, by the time we came out, having wrestled the ballot paper into the box,they had buggered off, very sensible I thought. Is boredom catching?

Heh! No need for police at our Polling stn, alas. Very quiet it was - but then we went very early, maybe things will warm up later? :o)
