Major rain, massive rain, not-English type rain but big, huge drops of heavy, tropical, hurricane-style rain hammering down like the bloody apocalypse or something.

O:!!!

Glad we got our gutters fixed. ::nods::

I need it, I'll take that rain. We're all built for heavy tropical rain down here, and I have a new roof ready for 115mph winds. Thank you Hurricane Ike!

It's 100F right now, which has been very common this summer. My crazy husband is out there firing up the grill for BBQ. At least we're not crazy enough to sit outside and eat:P

Rain - is not generally a problem in the NW UK. It's been behaving itself beautifully lately - hot warm days followed by rainy nights but that rain yesterday was just ALIEN! Gave us amazing skies last night though. It's still light at 11pm, the sky was summer-blue with vast, piled-up cumulo nimbus clouds lit by a gigantic moon. Unbelievably gorgeous.

I'm glad you got your gutters fixed too! Now blow some of that to my desert, 'k? ;-)

Wouldn't that just mess horribly with your ecosystem? :o) It was so fierce I was worried it would've damaged the garden but all that happened is the peas have put on 2" of growth overnight so - win! *g*
